Scout This Area

Explore the ground before you walk it. Scout already gives you mapping and location tools for planning and field use.

We're building deeper terrain analysis to help call attention to old channels, benches, disturbed ground and other features worth a closer look.

Ask Scout

You shouldn't need to know the geological term before you can ask the question.

Ask Scout what you're looking at, what stands out, or where you should look next. The goal isn't to promise gold — it's to help you know when to stop and inspect.

ASK SCOUT DESIGN TARGET
FIELD PHOTO
Anything here worth looking at?
SCOUT I'd start with the exposed bedrock in front of you. There are several fractures and low points where loose material can collect.

I'd also inspect where the bedrock disappears beneath the gravel and vegetation farther upslope.
Not a gold guarantee. A reason to inspect.

LEARN WITH SCOUT

Know what you're
looking at.

The tools can point something out. Knowing why it matters makes you a better prospector.

Scout's learning modules help you build the field knowledge behind prospecting — so you understand what to look for, where to look, and why.

01 READ THE GROUND

Learn to recognize the terrain and features that deserve attention.

02 UNDERSTAND THE WHY

Build the geology and prospecting knowledge behind what you see.

03 TAKE IT TO THE FIELD

Turn concepts into things you can actually look for on the ground.
